Wine Merchants and Shippers

Swallow wine merchants and shippers is the division of Swallow Drinks that is a specialist wine supplier to the on trade. We direct ship wines from all over the world, this includes Chile, Australia, New Zealand , South Africa, France , Spain and Italy , to name but a few.

Swallow have been members of the Society of Vintners buying group for over 20 years. This allows us to be highly competitive, due to our direct shipping model and gives us access to exclusive on trade only wines . This means that the wines that we sell have no presence in retail shops and will give our customers the additional confidence of exclusivity.

We have wines that suit all budgets and every kind of venue, whether you are pub, a club, , a gastro-pub, Hotel or restaurant, as we have such an extensive range of wines , with recent additions from as with countries as diverse as Japan, Georgia, Lebanon , England and Greece. In addition to our membership of the Society of Vintners we also use some of the best wine agencies in the UK. We also have engaged specialist agencies to drive Spain, Portugal, Argentina and South Africa, giving us access to a huge range of wines that are accessible, even if they don’t appear in our current portfolio.

Richard Thornton WSET (Higher) – with over 30 years experience in the wine industry working for both importers and wholesalers of wines across the UK

David Morgans WSET (level 3) – with 10 years experience in the wine trade, including managing specialist wine shops.
