Highland Spring:
Highland Spring as you know it today was born in the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, Scotland in 1979. Since that time we’ve been carefully looking after our small piece of land (the area above our natural springs). Of course the springs themselves have been here a lot longer than we have – almost 400 million years. We protect our land, making sure that the catchment area from which we draw our water is kept completely free from pesticides and pollution. No farming, agricultural spraying, building or habitation is allowed anywhere in the 2000 acre area. The result? Our land is so well looked after, it has been certified organic by the Soil Association, which means our water is as pure as it can possibly be.
